Once upon a time, there were two little girls, Lola & Grayce, who lived in separate suburbs in Northern California.

Lola often amused herself by playing with her large doll collection, dressing up her friends in her fancy party dresses, producing dance shows, and dreaming up new door-to-door business ventures.

A mere 200 miles away lived precocious little Grayce. This blond tomboyish beauty brimming with entrepreneurial spirit also went door to door charming her way into neighbor's houses. She'd sell them items she'd sewn, and played their pianos in exchange for tea and cookies while she was at it.

It was years later that Lola and Grayce met at the premiere of one of Lola's shows in Los Angeles - the Satin Dollz. Grayce, a self-taught and accomplished designer, had been invited by a friend. While the show appealed to Grayce's passion for vintage beauty and performance, she noticed that some of the dancers' costumes were ill-fitting and falling off. Grayce was aware of Lola's frustration and sent her business card backstage. Lola soon realized she'd finally met a designer with the same appreciation and standard for beautiful art. They became fast friends and it wasn't long before they'd joined forces to produce a collection that honored their mutual vintage aesthetic.

And, Lola GRAYCE was born… glamorous, bewitching, and not for the bashful.
